Show me your Kephart blades !

I remember back in 2006 seeing/handling one of the first BRKT Kepharts before they hit the market. I think the change in how they attached the handle scales was a big improvement.

Seems to be a comeback of interest in the Kephart knife recently.

Yes, the 1st production run in stainless Sandvik 12c27 had problems with the epoxy not working.
The scales separated and there was a gap at the spine and bottom of the handle.

I rebuilt mine and made a new mix of epoxy.
No problems anymore and the steel is great as usual with 12c27.

I picked up an Ontario SK-5 Blackbird a couple of months ago and I really like this knife, read a lot of reviews where there were complaints about the handle/scales but I don't have a problem with them.
