Show me your STACKED LEATHER HANDLE Knife/Knives!

Hi all,

I only have one (vintage) Stacked Leather Handle Knife (are they considered full tang btw ?)

Mine is a vintage CASE "CASES SPORTSMAN" Hunting Knife that measure 8.5" OAL with a 4.5" Blade

and 4" (albeit a bit too small/short for my XXL Hand) Handle due to it's Mushroom pommel.

The CASE Blade is also thinner than all my other (Hunting/Survival type Knives) with a thickness that appears to be 3/32's.

I rather like this thinner blade as I suspect it will be an excellent Cutter/Slicer

(I will use either an Axe/Hatchet/Tomahawk and/or my vintage 12" Blade Lamb Chopper/Splitter if I feel the need to "Chop".

Of all the knives I own, there is just "something" about this Knife (type) I'm loving. As mentioned, overall size, weight,

blade shape and thickness and "feel" of that old STACKED LEATHER HANDLE.

I dunno, perhaps I'm just becoming a sentimental old fool.

I hope to one day have a "Custom" made "Tribute Knife" made (with slightly longer handle) based on this style of Knife.

So, come on BF members, let's see your STACKED LEATHER HANDLE knives!

It's easy to like stacked leather!
Here are 3 of mine.

The Fällkniven Idun
Very expensive, but suberb allrounder

Hess Tiburon + Bark River 7,5" custom bowie.

The Tiburon is 0,125" on the spine and the edge is set for slicing.
Great value for money!

WWII Camillus MK 2 with the early 'spanner nut' pommel and in very good condition.



A very nice sleek and elegant quality Camillus. A beauty of a knife.



In regards to the pommel, this knife has the early 'spanner nut' arrangement, which was quickly dropped from production for being too fragile and replaced with the more well known wedge pommel.
