My Ontario-Izula most compact kit (fire, first aid, shelter, navigation and sharpening;))

I like that kit Rinos. Is that an esee lite machete its rigged too?

Keep em' coming guys...or girls. Where are all the chick kits?? C'mon ladies post your kits, or even show what survival stuff you might edc in your purses.

I see tons of band aids for boobo's WTH. No one is considering Quick Clot which is much more practical in the event I actually need first aid?;)
Actually, I do have Quick Clot in my kit.
I also have multiple means of starting a fire, as well as a Katadyne filter. I just haven't got around to posting it because it's always in an ever changing state as I find better solutions. :)
RE; Quick Clot, you can also stop profuse bleeding with a diaper or tampon too. ;)

Nice Thread! You guys have some very good ideas what to put into a mini kit, will steal some of those. Here is mine:

Contents from left to right, beginning in

row 1: Fällkniven DC4 knife sharpener, 12 or 15 meter of paracord (can't exactly remember), thermal blanket, and in the little red box is some fire making stuff: a candle, wax earplugs surrounded by cotton, and a fire stell + striker

row 2: mini Bic lighter in a plastic bag, small compass, 4 cable ties, a (massively scratched :( ) signal mirror with a red and a transparent side, my knife.

row 3: special tweezers (that will hold things even if you let go), needles, a whistle, wire and little screws, and my knife again (because i like it so much!)

Edit: The pouch is a Maxpedition TacTile pocket in size: small. (thx facablade)

Best regards from germany and take care,

l.

very cool blade design man... ^

Thanks mate! I spent days on sketches and even built a cardboard model before I had it custom made by german maker Juergen Schanz.

Working on one for next year to go with a canteen pouch.

Seems upload in tapatalk not coming up.

I traded some shiny things to some canucks for this mec med pack and jammed it full of everything - SAK farmer, lighters, FAK, poncho, tweezers, Tick flicker, tinders, fatwood, moleskin, and bunch of other junk to tape myself back together.

OK, this is just about my 1st photo upload and definitely my 1st showing what's in my EDC.

Everything in the following photo's fits in this ratty, old "First Aid" bag:

Now, here's everything inside this poor, old bag:

Here's the outside of my little "fire-kit" bag (maybe 4"x6"):

and a more detailed pic of it's contents:

It's a lotta 'bag-for-the-buck'!!!

It doesn't weigh much, contains *everything* i'd need for immediate care (within reason) and plenty to make a fire with.

I ran across an Adventure Medical Kit (AMK) survival sheet in PDF form from Equipped.org For some reason the sheet doesn’t show up until you take the slider on the right hand side of the page and slide it down to the 2nd sheet (heads up). You guys probably already know how, but when I print something like this (two sided) I put a little x or a dot on a corner of the paper before I print it, so that you can tell what side to flip the paper to when you put the sheet back in to print the other side. Fun eh?

Save a copy to your computer if you want (Survival Sheet)

I put together this little kit for a very specific location- the sleeve of my jacket his a small zippered pocket that I thought would be ideal for a small survival kit- kit would have to lay flat, be light and fit the dimensions of the pocket

pocket on jacket (shown w/ kit in pocket)

kit contents- AMK heatsheet, 12' Spectra cord (rated to 300#), MRE 16 oz beverage bag, 4 Micropur tabs, 6 UCO matches/striker, Spark-lite w/ 4 Tinder Tabs and a Fox Micro whistle
