Show-n-Tell Time - Moose/Eq End Trapper/Muskrat!

Okay that's it I'm officially in the market for one of those Winchester equal enders with the bowtie shield.

A man can only take so much!

Longbeachguy, I may have a few extra of the Winchester Equal Ends somewhere NIB if you are interested ....I bought out a guy's Winchester collection sometime back, and I think there were a few of these included. I'm not at home right now so I would have to check. Contact me if your interested.....I'm sure we could work something out.

-Regards

This should give you and idea of the Equal Ends size. To me it's just about the perfect size for pocket carry. Larry

Hey you guys, back off -- he was talking to me!!!!!!

Just kidding of course...sort of...I guess...:D

Gramps, that's awfully neighborly of you. I'm sending you an e-mail.

And lastly (unfortunately) my Winchester and my Case:
The bottom one is a Case 2094SP Muskrat in brown rogers bone.
The top one is a Winchester W15 2991 equal ended muskrat with black jigged bone scales.

/ Karl

Call me Crazy, but that Case looks a lot like a Queen to me. Is that possible? Could it have been made by Queen?

That's a 90's Case Classic I believe, made by Queen most likely!

I just found my Case Classics book- That's a 62094 model, and was made in 1994 (nothing to do with the model number).

Thanks Charlie...

I noticed the clip blade bears an uncanny resemblance to the Moore Maker 5304 pattern, which is also made by Queen:

Charlie, Larry, Sword and Shield.....and everyone......If I've got any doubles in Winchesters left that I want to sell or trade after I see what I might have for longbeachguy I will be sure to post here first. Presently I'm out of state and will need to take stock of what there is once I return home in several weeks. Also keep your eyes peeled for them on eBay...something comes up at auction fairly often, and they sell for a reasonable sum !

I'm with Larry when it comes to the canoe size for pocket carry...they're awfully friendly for regular totin'. I know some of you don't care much for the canoe pattern.....I'll fix that...I'll start a canoe thread on ya ! ( I can hear some of you groaning as you read this ! :D ).

longbeachguy....nice lookin' Moore Maker !

Karl, you have a nice collection going there...much to be proud of ! I imagine it is quite a challenge to find Equal End patterns in Europe. You're off to a great start !

Larry.....that swell center Winchester's a handsome pocket piece......you're an accomplished photographer.

Charlie.....that Case is......er......well.....a Classic. She's a Beauty too !

-regards

Longbeachguy:
Those Mooses make give me stomach-ache for want. I've been looking for that Camillus CCC2 for some time now, but... no luck so far.
And the S&M is a stunner!! Love it!
Looking at the Cripple Creek - it's a shame that brand doesn't exist any more.

Gramps:
Thanks!
You do find some stuff over here in Europe, but most of the time it's either in a bad condition, or totally over-prized. Yup, I think calling it a challenge is fairly correct. But that's part of the fun too.

Amos:
Thanks!!
And thanks for starting this thread with my all-time favourite pattern.
The only thing "bad" about it, is me wanting these things even more now! :)

LarryM:
Those Winchester Mooses - I like!!

Waynorth:
Thanks!
And you're right on the dot regarding the Case.

Winchester equal end bowtie:
You guys should get one each!!
This is one of my absolute favourites in my edc rotation. You can hardly find a more pocket-friendly shape and size in a knife than that!!
And for me, the blade selection is just what I need for the office as well as during hunting (which is mainly small game hunting) and the everyday chores at camping.

Gramps is right about ebay. If you search Winchester Knife a Equal end is going off today with no bids.

Nice Robeys, Chip! From the infamous benches of Queen Cutlery?

There sure are some nice knives showing up here, starting with Amos's, and moving on down the thread! Great thread!

Two Schrade Waldens from the factory collection (sniff) from the now-gone Schrade factory.
SchradeMuskrats2f.jpg

Wait a second! Those each have a serrated blade! Where the heck do I get one of those?!? I had no idea such a thing was ever made (outside the Spyderco Dyad... discontinued and EXPENSIVE).

This just jumped to the top of my want list. What model number am I hunting for?

Thanks!
Mike
