Yes it is thanks, and the more you use it the richer the colour becomes. One of GEC's best scale options I've found.

Thank you! It certainly is a favourite of mine. I missed out on getting a bone Spear 15 in the last release but I'm keeping an eye out

there were plenty around at one point, but just browsing the usual suspects show only the micarta or the bail/chain stuff. probably some lurking around. if not drop me a line sometime

Fantastic group of new #15s. The smooth bone on the left is of course the standout.

An old pic of my only 15. I can’t seem to find the answer to this so I figured this is a good place to ask it. When and why did gec make the long pulls longer on the 15s? Just noticed it and I found it kinda odd they would change it.

Hmm glad I’m not loseing it just yet. When I first noticed it I had to look at a bunch of them to make sure it wasn’t just that particular knife.

Good choice. With the rounded butt, they are so slim in the pocket.

Thanks, John yeah the rounded butt, doesn't stick in the palm of my hand like the bone model does. Also, the micarta handle feels a wee bit thicker in hand than the ebony. That might be me though.
