I’m with you Taylor. It looks like from side to side in straight lines across, but with uneven gouges. From top to bottom, the uneven gouge pattern looks randomly beautiful.

Is that the antique yellow or antique amber? I have not been able to tell difference. I have the cranberry and I love these knives...and nobody is threatened by them, I even get questions from non-knife folks, asking what kind of knife is that?

I will double check later, but it was sold to me as antique yellow jigged bone.

Added a new row to my Box-o-15s. As far as modern-era traditional pocket knives go, GEC 15s just do it for me!!!
