The federal shield, jigging, and long-pull spear on those Maher & Grosh 15s are top notch, I think the best of the 15s on a chain run. I really should get one while they are still around...I saw somewhere recently where somebody inserted a decorative stud in the holes from the bail. I have had success filling holes by mashing the meat from a walnut into the space...blends right in and the oil is good for knife.
 
One happy 15 collector here... just added (thanks Mike) a significant piece to my collection and now I can illustrate the parentage of the blood red Rendezvous Beer Scout...take the blade from the 2014 Diamond Radio Knife and install it in the 2015 SFO blood red sawcut “Soda Scout” instead of the standard sheepsfoot blade, and then swap out the Scout Shield with that from the 2015 Beer Scout and voila...a true gem of a parts knife.
