Show off your 15's

Does anyone have a new cocobolo that they can put up next to one of the recent run of wood boys knives (the ebony B&C or something similar)? I noticed on mine that the covers are rounded, whereas on my stainless #15 old barn chestnut from 2016 has flatter covers. I was curious is that is something odd about the 2021 run, or odd about the 2016 run, or just something that GEC varies depending upon the type of wood.

Here’s a ‘16 in chestnut, an ‘18 in ebony, and a ‘21 in cocobolo. I’m not sure it shows in the pictures, but It looks like the ‘16 is the odd man out. The ‘18 & ‘21 feel more rounded at the edges.

Thanks! I wonder if it is the old barn chestnut? It is pretty soft. Also, now I really want one of those '18 ebonies.

Maybe I will be able to pick one up the next time they run 15’s though.

It also would of been nice if they ran some with a pen blade.
That is a perfect combo for me and it fills the hand better than the single blade for me.

It seems like the production of 2 blade #15's is not common anymore. Not sure why, but I assume it has something to do with popularity. I like the single blade and two blades equally myself.
