RDaneel,

Gentlemen, what a great portfolio of knives. Everyone a beautiful specimen.

Thank you Curtis! Very nice trio you have there, Dean! It wasn't that long ago that I had that same amount. I would say 4 months roughly.

Thank you for the comments on my sheep Barlows guys. Dean - nice additions for the week !!:D

Man, so many fine lookin' knives, and great pics too. I'm sorry my pic doesn't show the same degree of clarity,:o I'm workin' on it.

I did have an easy-open sheep Scout, but gave it to my wife. To help get over the loss of my only #15, it seemed only reasonable that I replace it with two!:D

They were originally designed to be opened with one hand. Back during the Civil War Era, there were many amputees. This design allowed the owner to open the knife by hooking it on your jeans pocket, or the edge of a bench.

Wow, very cool story. Thanks for the info.

I am so bummed I missed out on those Blue Camel Bone SFOs. I wonder if they will be doing more??

Here's my original.

Thanks, fellas. I've been putting it to work, and it has developed quite the patina. I'm going to search for my polishing cloth and try to get her all shiny again, at least the handles.

Wow!, love seeing all the variants of this great pattern. I only have a few right now but I hope it will change in the future.
My favorite ones are the ebony covers..
