  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Show off your 15's

It's scary how similar this old Camillus knife is to a #15. The dimensions are nearly identical.

...
Very cool comparison, Buzzbait! :cool::cool:
(I'd personally much prefer the Camillus, but that's probably just a nostalgic old geezer talking. :o)

Hey thanks Paul! Spent the night playin with this one and some others, getting them razor sharp!

Perry, what did you do to get your Broadway Jack "razor sharp " ? just stropping ? or did you start with a coarse stone and re-profile to a more acute angle ?

Well it's gonna sound silly but after I used the crock sticks I went in the garage and rolled down my window, on the car, and tried my hand at fine honing on the window's edge. Worked pretty well! I kept the existing edge and just refined it.

Dean, I have seen many different knife configurations over my last 30 odd years of collecting and using but these just seem to fire on all the cylinders. Might even say it's a Grail for me. Still not sure though. I might know once I spend another several thousand dollars!:rolleyes:

I'm with you on that, Perry. I've got several GEC 15s. Brought me back to GEC; they seem to be just the right size, etc. The Blue Broadway Jack I got is fascinating in its rustic beauty. Does empty the wallet though. :) I've looked at those ivory ones several times...
