Alan, you are correct. That is called soup bone. It is a nice deep red that really shows well in the sunlight.

Paul, Those TC's look great together. When did the Ponycut version come out? Was it at the same time as the recent Peachseed version?

Thanks Travman and a great Anniversary Soup you have as well. Yep, the Pony Cut was released with the peachseed. I was fortunate to acquire one:thumbup:

Here are mine. Enjoy

Very NICE Slim:thumbup: two charred beer barrel Beer Scouts?! Such great knives:thumbup: I've got you listed for #208, what's number is the other one?

Thanks Bob, I was in the right place at the right time. It's one of thirteen from what I heard. GEC does a good job with natural micarta, can't wait to see the burlap micarta coming soon.

Thanks Buzz and Paul. It's very special to me. Bob Andrews (Old Hundred Collectables) did me a favor or I wouldn't have it. I've only seen 2 of them, this one and another someone else posted here in traditionals, can't remember who.

As I always say, it's a privilege to have these knives. In fact, I'm really just holding them for the next generation of Barlow enthusiasts.

This is the perfect pattern to me,I have one similar (its a radio jack) in Ebony, which is my favourite traditional handle cover. This micarta is super nice as well, great user

Here is a picture of mine, although it has a pretty heavy patina on it now
