Pattern #15 is what got me into GEC as a brand. After owning a few, I formed an opinion of what the perfect #15 would be for me.

Easy open sheepfoot with a caplifter.

Back in 2014, this pattern didn't exist. But it was something Evan (esnyx) could do something about. He was gracious enough to accept my project back then. Of course I had to add a couple more bells and whistles.

I'm glad GEC decided to actually make this a standard pattern. Beerlows and single bladed TCs are my favorite 15s.

Here is the project Evan worked on for me years ago; 15, sheepfoot, EO, caplifter, bronze liners, bolster-less, amboyna burl handles.

Evan did an outstanding job taking my idea to use the grayish-color section of the wood slab to make a pseudo bolster. He executed it perfectly.
