Show off your Fiddlebacks and Leather

woh, awesome job man, I've never seen such well made sheaths from someone who just started making them. You got a lot of potential.

thank you! getting a good clean set of holes is the hardest part for me right now. anyone with tips on that, bring it on...

So cool - love this thread and all these great knife clothes. i'm a stone cold rookie - made my first sheath a few weeks ago after watching Ian Atkinson's awesome video on youtube... like twenty times. so, i'm at the bottom of the class right now, but love making them and happy to share.

These are very nice work, love the fact that you got your own style going on there. Cool stuff.

Recently acquired 12" machete and one hell of a sheath by Mr. Lowe..

Fiddleback Family, WAS Loveless Style with some traditional classic leather courtesy of RLO. Both Allen and Rick truly do Mr. Loveless an honor with their craftsmanship.

Bill - these sheaths look fantastic. Love the retention strap - old school....

Thanks man. The only input I gave Rick was that I wanted something that would have been what Mr. Loveless would have used with his drop points. That and something usable, not an artistic piece. As I have been very accustomed to, Rick really did a phenomenal job in record time. These are just a few of the reasons I keep going back to him.

Having recently acquired a couple of Fiddlebacks at the opposite ends of the size range, 12" machete and Runt, I decided to have matching sheaths made by Heber Ellsworth. I wouldn't usually have personalized features but in this case the two knives are keepers for sure. As always, Heber was very helpful in tailoring the knives to my requirements, and I think the aged natural leather compliments the scales of both knives well and will take on further personality through regular carry/use. Cheers Heber!

Heber does some good work. I like the way the natural leather ages on its own and kind of tells its own story kind of like a natural patina.

That Runt is about a nice of one I've seen. Absolute stunner!!!

very cool bear, as abrasion said, the runt is one of the best looking one's i've seen. the sheath for the machete is very nice, I have couple of Heber's, both an excellent leather bender and a good dude.

I wanted to bump up a couple of pics of Mark Condos made sheaths, to go w/ the SuperBen post. The great BF paired w/ the knifeleather sheath makes a great package for a great cause!!
Mark has made sheaths for my Hunter, KEB, Arete, & BR- and they are all excellent!

The burlap handle on that machete is pretty cool and rare, bear71, my envy is great.

A very cool Heber made sheath for my Hunter. I wanted a simple black sheath with a firesteel loop. Heber did an outstanding job with this one. I love the fit (deeper than normal per my request) and retention.
