Show off your Fiddlebacks and Leather

Since it is Hump Day, here are a couple of Camp Nessies with some classy Rick Lowe leather…

…and a Camp Knife with one of Bud’s JouFuu sheaths.

All of those are very nice Phil! The natural edge on that camp knife sheath goes great with the knife.

Outstanding Phil. Glad to see that EO shadetree CK in your collection - and that picture reminds me I probably need to make another CK sheath this upcoming week. :)

All first class examples there Phil.

Really digging this ISP sheath from Mark Condos

Is it wrong to envy the Electric Orange Camp? Some great RLO and bonafide leather there Phil.

B.H., I like condos' work as well. Purdy Runt there.

That bolstered Tangerine burlap looks really sharp. I can't wait until you have a matching set-up in every model so that I have a chance of scoring one eventually. :D

Thanks for posting the pictures Danny. Mark's sheaths look very well crafted indeed. Congrats on the super set-up there!

Thank you gentlemen.

This crossdraw of Bud's (bonafide) is probably the most comfortable/convenient sheath I have ever worn. I forget it's even there.

Dude .. your pics tell me I gotta learn to use a camera better! Great framing, positioning, and of course color/contrast.

oh yea, and thanks for the props!

Great photos bushhacker, love those instagram like photos makes me nostalgic. That is possibly the sweetest runt setup ive seen, great work Bud.

Yup. These recent ones are from my Samsung S4 up to Google+ and edited there to fit for Instagram. I try to make them a little more gritty as a personal preference.

That is a very slick looking set-up Danny! Has the Short Muk grown on you? I seem to remember that you had your doubts after you received the epic matching quad Muk set.

Nice job Bud on the slight tilt of the belt loop to put the handle end slightly higher for extra security and a natural draw angle. Very well thought out.

Yes, this sheath is fantastic and done well. I believe every sheath I have from Bud has excellent retention for the appropriate blade. This one in particular really locks in the knife after it slipped onto a belt.

Smaller fixed blades for daily use & carry in general are growing on me. For some time the knife in my pocket 99% of the time has been a SAK farmer; fixed blades (mostly larger) reserved for woods use or household choirs. My current station in life does not require much in regards of daily cutting tasks, but I do think for regular daily use I'd lean more to the Runt. Yet, carrying the Stubby Muk over the last couple of days I would say it has grown on me.

I like that mine has 1/8" stock, and I would not go any thicker on this one (even thinner would be nice). The handle shape locks the knife into your hand with a 3-finger grip and I find it comfortable and secure. I should send it down south to my dad during rabbit/dove season and see how he likes it processing small game. With infants in the house, personal free time is limited but I can envision the Stubby Muk performing well in that regards - but I'd favor the Mini Muk most likely.

But I am liking it so far, and I might poke my head further in the door of smaller Fiddlebacks. I will be keeping an eye out for a nice custom Runt in stainless.

I wouldn't shy away from the production runt in the S35vn. I am super impressed with the level of sharpness I have a been able to get from it. I have a couple customs in the same steel and equally impressed but at a higher price point and longer wait time between offerings. Often much longer for S35VN
Iirc... Bud and Andy commented on the edge on my production hiking buddy I've been totin lately
