Show Off Your Leather!

I see that the pros have found their way here! There is a lot to learn form these guys.

Now for some pics of my kitchen counter creations :p

Some more kitchen counter creations

A "Randall Pouch for a Randall" and a tomahawk cover. I made these for one of the guys in my unit. The Randall was carried by his father who was a Special Forces NCO and the tomahawk is in case he has to go "Old School" on some jihadist.:D Both are well used and well loved.

Some darn nice stuff showing up here! I'm so happy this forum finally happened! :D

Very cool sheath design!

What did you use to lock in the knife. I can see how it works, but can't see what actually inserts in to the retention hole.

It's a half-inch (or so) metal pin. Oh, and I didn't make it, it is Michael Hornung's creation @ http://www.mikeymotoleather.com/

Here is a pic of my sheath off of his website.

The pinlock is very secure. I am very fond of the design.

Man I can just hear the Cow's crying over this thread :)

As I don't take on fixed blade sheath work, here's one I conceded to do for a friend out west,
for a very nice hunter, it was made by our very own Raj, under the tutelage of Ron Newton, a most excellent work!
Cross draw carry.

It's very cool to see all the various styles of leather work...all very nice stuff. I'm beginning to recognize people's work at first glance...

I'm still learning, but here are a couple of mine anyway...

Thanx for looking :D

Having done several postings over the years asking about creating a sheath forum, I am tickled to see that it has arrived. Previously I was informed by all and sundry that it would not create enough traffic to be warranted. Seems as though they might have been mistaken? Anyhow, thanks Spark and Esav for bringing this to fruition! Sandy Morrissey, aka helmar4578, aka Swivelknife.

No, I'm still learning... with a long way to go. Here's proof so some of my fellow beginners will post their attempts also!
