this style panel is one I haven't tried until now, instead of splitting the leather and placing the Skin under the split leather I carved it out and under cut for the Croc skin , different for me..

Guys could I suggest that you size your pictures to around 650 pixels in size and to under 100KB so the guys on dial-up can view the pictures too.. this thread is getting to be very big in bandwidth. :( :)

Tazzknife- those knife holsters really gave me a smile. I grinned ear to ear. How cool would it be to have a matched set of gun holster and knife holster (with the scales of the knife matching the grip of the gun, and matching engraving on both the knife and gun).
I love them!
 
I am a newbie and have made a handful of leather sheaths so far. This one is the latest addition and it’s for my Busse .270" Fatty GW.

Improvements can for sure be done, but functionally I am very happy with this one.
Keeps the knife at a convenient 45 degrees angle and can be carried on the sides, in front or behind my back.

Thanks bigfattyt! It was something my wife came up with and I had to try it out. There was a pattern for a full size holster and belt in one of the Leather Crafters and Saddlers Journal, but was reduced 200%. It was PERFECT size for folding knife holsters. I have since made about 50 more, but haven't taken gotten around to posting pictures of them anywhere. I can't seem to find enough time. :D
