Show Off Your Leather!

Nice! So many good makers coming out of the woodwork!!! :D This is just too cool.

bladrunr, that is a sweet belt rig you made to carry all of your, um, tools.
ilbruche, the sheath for the stag-handled knife with the leaf belt loop is beautiful, as are your others. I love the stitch pattern and the grooves, very subtle details.

Mr. Greeley, your work is stunning. I don't think I'm even worthy of commenting any more on it.

MikeyMoto makes very cool leather for Busses, the contrasting stitches are a nice detail.

Thanks. These are 3 more I finished recently.

Ilbruche, good job on the Nessmuk sheaths, I always have trouble cutting those to look decent.

rayban, thanks for the note, system wouldn't let me respond so check your PM setup.

ilbruche, that is a sweet design for the Nessmuk knife. I love the way it slides out without coming out of the top, a great design for a long blade. Retention straps that don't use snaps or velcro are great as well.

I guess I need to upgrade in order to send/receive PMs....I'll have to get around to that....someday.........I guess.....maybe.....

Glad to see this sheath forum come to be. Lots of good ideas and lots of fine work! Here's a few of mine to add to the list of leather sheaths.

Hey Rick,
Wow! That is so nice! Your ability to make the sheath to fit the style of the knife is awesome!

Well done! :D

Thanks to all for the good comments! So much good work showing up from all over. Special thanks to you, Dad. You're the inspiration that started this and keeps me and the boys trying to get better!

Wow some great sheaths, from some great makers.
Here's some of mine, most of mine go OS probably why I get a lot of requests for kangaroo lacing:)

I really like your style of tooling.
What do you do to come to this? It looks like clay, or sculpted wax or something..

It's simple. Ball point stylus.

Made this one real quick so I could take it on my fishing trip this weekend.
