I really like the looks of that one a lot... May I ask who made it? I would love one just like it!

Just received this one from an auction site for a decent price shipped... I really like the basic leather sheaths without huge branding on them. This is made by CC Leather and is their 4" model. Fits my 15 scout like a glove and hopefully just gets better with age. I'm going to have to try some of their other sizes... they have a 3", 4", 4 1/2" and a 5". Seems to me to be very nice stitching and leather in this one, quite happy...

These see alot of carry I made the field note cover and the double pocket on the right. The double pocket fits in all of my back pockets and holds various knives depending on my carry choices

I've been wondering how many of these great slips are hand sewn and how many machine? The neatness of most of the stitching had about convinced me that there was a large number of you , ahem, gentleman who had unspoken skills with the machines. Maybe some would think that "unmanly", but in my family we all were taught to at least be able to darn socks (who does that anymore), if not do some cross stitch work. I think I will have to acquire my dear mothers (her 86th was Saturday:D) now unused leather tools and get to work.
Thanks, Neal

Wow, some of you have more pocket slips than I have acquired of holsters over the years. My homemade slips are hand sewn. Though I'm sure all commercially purchased are machine. But would love a leather machine someday.

Do you prefer the clip style pocket sheaths? Beautiful by the way...

I agree with Paul .

A clip on the slip gives you many options and one that I use the most is clipped IWB when I'm wearing Gym / Basketball type shorts which don't always have pockets or if they do , not very good ones that things fall out of easily .
Clipped IWB is also very useful if you want to be very discrete , with a shirt pulled out over it nobody knows its there and there are no bulges in your pocket .

Here is a pic that I cropped because the original showed a Modern folder clipped IWB as well , so the pic quality isn't the greatest sorry .

Paul tell your wife she does very nice work. She get that clip from Paul Long?

A slip with a clip is very handy. Can be worn in the pocket, IWB or boot. Probably other places as well.
