I plan on doing the same with my dogs once I get out on my own.
Our neighbors have a hhhuuuugggeee german shepard (it has to way close to 150, but I also think its actually a Kings shepard) that is starting to go downhill really quick. It has some degenerative nerve disease that started at the base of the spine and is slowly working it's way up. He already walks around dragging his bottom end and once he loses the control to go to the bathroom the owner says they will have to put him down. He is probablly only 9 or 10...such a shame

Radar my not so wiry Wirehair on a grouse hunt in Grand Rapids MN this last season.
Year old pic of Siku, when we rescued her they told us she was a female husky, but she's bigger then any of the 3 males we've had, so who knows. She's a lover though.:thumbup:
