Why does Tim have 2 flat platens set up in his 3 grinder bunch?

I could very well be wrong, but I would assume he has the sides of the platen dressed differently for different tasks

I can't imagine what you guys do with all those huge machines. Just kidding.This is my shop,I also have a metal cut bandsaw and a paragon oven in another room,Oh and a large air compressor out back with a blast cabinet.

Pontiac fan actually ( 61' Bonneville ). That 914 is a 73 2.0 and is mostly original , and may end up my sons first car , it was my old SCCA CS auto-x ride.

COOL Bobby!! I was going to suggest a trip to Steve Lindsay's website. He has done some UNbelievable (actually VERY believable for a man with his skills) machine restorations. He is also in the process of putting those into a LARGE new shop.

Take a trip to the engraving forum for those that want to see more pictures of the new shop.
