Sorry, I'm out topic, but "that reminded me my GrandMa's wooden house. She was living on the 1st floor and on the ground floor there was a rag & bone man's warehouse, whose carriage was hardly more modern than his Buffalo's counterpart (old prewar Renault).I love that name Ragg Bone!! It's like the opposite, but counterpoint of Soup Bone!!!!

When I was a child, those many years ago, There was a raggety man on a horse-drawn cart, collecting Rags and Bones, in residential neighborhoods in Buffalo, NY!!!!
I remember his voice, 75 years later; shouting "Ya Rags"!!! And I can hear his swayback steed clopping slowly along the pavement!!!!
An early recycler!!! I heard he tore old clothing up, made bundles, and sold them to auto mechanics and machine shops!!!
