Show us your grinder.

I'll take 821

Here is my GIB. The pullies are starting to give me some problems, so I'll have to rethink some things, but it has been good to me so far

This is my Bader 3 as a horizontal grinder, notice the hinge. I have since changed it to variable speed. Thanks for the chance Fred I will put my faith in #69. Jess gr3.jpg

My somewhat modified (parts cut out to form sort of a platen) cheapo grinder.
And the first attempt using the bubble. What an improvement over my previous full convex only grinds :)

OK here is my KMG clone.

It shares this cart with my forge and a few other tools which I ran out of space for in my shop!

Thanks for the opportunity Fred and I will take #757.

Here is my disc sander, and helper (hooked up to a VFD, not pictured). Currently working on modifying a Craftsman 2x42 to run on identical motor, also hooked up to the VFD.

I'll take # 114 - thanks!

My new grinder with variable speed control. (speed is determined by the number of pancakes I have for breakfast)

Mine is a 2 HP Bee Industrial Knifemaker's Grinder 2x72", with a KBAC Variable controller. This is a stock photo I'm at work, so I'll post a shop pic later or this weekend when I get out there. Also have a 1x42" Kalamazoo finishing grinder I use for handles etc, with a flip plate to make it horizontal. Thanks for the contest Fred :) I'll take #500, split it down the middle.

Did you mill the pieces for the articulated arm, that positions the work rest? That is a fine piece of engineering.
The work space in my kitchen isn't this clean. Grind some steel.:)

Yes I did Fred. I made every part of that grinder except for the bearings, springs, plastic handle, and the hardware. The arm works really well, and easy to change positions for vertical or horizontal work rest. I just spent about 3 hours this past weekend cleaning up the shop...trust me it needed it. That is why everything looks so clean. I plan to take the whole machine apart soon to have it powdercoated. All the tool arms and the tool arm pockets will be cadnium plated.
