My one year AA chip makes a good lanyard bead.

Earning a one year chip with AA is a big deal. Congrats.

More lanyard pics, everyone! More pics!

Sweet knives. What are these. I really like the tanto blade...I love knives with this type of blade. One of my blurs is a tango but it is both straight and serrated. Only way I could find it at the time on a Blur. I am not a big fan of combo blades. Would prefer a either or but not a combo.. J

Recent one for my new Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter, really nice knife to btw,

Just did this one for my wifee's leek, and flipped her clip To tip up so she can more easily access it from the little side pocket, deep in the bowels of her never ending clutter of a purse.

This might be a ridiculous question. But has anyone basically developed a lanyard pattern that they consider to be a default to them? Something they put on all of their knives rather than deviating with a different pattern?

I always tie the hangman's noose.

I prefer a lanyard on all my carry blades. It really assists in easy pocket removal. I'm not really a scull guy, but I got a bunch of these at a bargain price, so I use them. So I can just match the role of the office hard @ss. ;). This pic is really the only deviation from all the others. Most are simply a 2.5" wrap with the bead on the end for weight. All some variation of leather strap or paracord. Sometime I'll have to pull a bunch for pics.
