Show us your Randalls

For sure:
Model 3-5 Stainless Steel

Most likely:
Nickel Silver Double Hilt shaped like the one on a model 1 or 2.
Nickel Silver Butt Cap

100% guess:
Handle material Black Micarta
Standard (red, white, and blue) Spacers

I always wonder who the doctor is who writes this on the paper, lol

Thank you for playing Sphinx3000 Sphinx3000 . The above butcher paper scribbling is the least decipherable I have received from Randall yet. The doctor must have been in :-) You were half right 🍻

Here she is "Model 3-5, with stainless blade, double nickel silver hilt, aluminum spacers, no-hone sheath". My first leather stacked Randall, and man do I like it. The double silver nickel hilt feels great in hand. Just a wonderful Randall.

Beautiful knife! The thing with leather is that it is so durable. You would think that the lifespan would be limited. But not the case. Leather even gets more character with the years. It gets that nice darker tone to it.

Your words are music to my ears.

I don't know why I waited this long with a leather handled Randall. Might not be my last one.

Found a pirate looking knife wandering around Blade show earlier this month. Etched logo (cam flash) , blued blade.
nice wood handle, 7 spacer, hand cut flanged butt cap, large tang nut, commando 1-6.
Could not pass it up. Best guess made around 1960, looking at the grind. 20240607_153457_resized.jpg20240607_153517_resized.jpg20240607_153450_resized.jpg20240611_134646_resized.jpg

That knife has character! It could even be older, very interesting to see the BIG nut on the back. First time I see it, but I am no expert at vintage Randall's.

MCM MCM that is a beautiful knife.

First time I’ve seen a “flanged scalloped brass butt cap” without its matching “scalloped collar”. It looks good like that.

I always sort of wondered how one would look without the other.

That is what I call a very impressive collection! You must be always looking for the next one:D I bet it took some time to find them all.

Round or flat great knife. Brass butt for the win! I just happen to collect flat model 2's.
So always ask...
