Looks like a well equipped shop larry! Good use of the space!

Great shops guys!

Denis, that sure is a nice shop with lots of cool toys and organized, just how I like them.
Thanks for sharing.

Well, I've been trying to turn my garage into a workshop and it is finally beginning to take shape. I went from an old two car (really car and a half) with 2 outlets and 1 light bulb overhead and no work benches. I now have 3 heavy duty built by me work benches, 20 outlets, 1 220v outlet and 24 feet of high output florescent lighting!

Just unpacked a new toy for one of my workbenches.

One last pic before bedtime, grinder is 90% ready. All I have to do is make a quick run to the hardware store to buy some bolts to secure the grinder to the bench and mount the VFD and I am ready to go!

What is that belt grinder? I'd love to pull the trigger on a TW-90 but reasonably something like a Pheer 454 (which looks to be a nice machine) or something like that makes more sense. Either should be head an shoulders above the Craftsman 2x42 that I have now. My Kingdom for a small wheel attachment!

Here is part of my little set up. I have 2 more workbenches and storage. Might grab a couple pics tonight.

Hiding in back is my nice buffer. Under the right "table" is my 2 brick propane forge and toaster oven for tempering. I have a thermometer inside and it only holds around a 7 degree swing so I have it bounce around 400 for my 1080.

I use a shop vac for dust control. I'm going to make a rolling spark catcher/ dust control bucket as well for each side.

Hi stereo.pete
Nice setup and sturdy looking benches. I'm always jealous about the prices for lumber in the US.

Greetings,
A lot has changed since I made this video of my shop over a year ago. I hope to be able to make a new series in the coming months.

I thought a video captures my shop best.

Enjoy.

This is a brief tour of my shop. Would have liked to done it when it was clean but, that doesn't really ever happen.

Damn! Nice looking shop you've got there RangerBob! Well equipped too!

Do you use it exclusively for knives or do you do other stuff there as well?

All the shops look great. I gained a lot of insight on how I could probably organize mine a little better, and got a lot of good ideas on where Id like to further my shop. sorry I have no pics of mine at the moment since Im at work.
