Using my edc to remove a thread sticking out from a knife sheath

With my humble folding fruit knife I first tackled an apple, then later in the day, an orange.

Sorry, didnt think to get an action shot. It's my "in-the-office" EDC. So far nobody has found it offensive, but generally knives aren't acceptable here.

Mind you, there's a Button-lock Elementum and a Victorinox S18 in my bag, I just don't bring them out until I leave.
 
The little fella is already exceeding expectations and moving up the ranks of the knife drawer. That skinny blade is like a surgical scalpel on this case foam for storing telescope finderscopes and mounts and stuff. I started out with the Manix 2, but this little guy just ate it up.
