The Caribbean Salt has been my farm chore EDC for a couple weeks. But when I am out and about, I tend to switch knives on my belt every day or three, in no particular rotation. And I have had a Civivi Trailblazer (silly name for a sub-3 inch knife) in my pocket for several months for when I do not want to open carry, or I want a knife with a belly to complement a Wharncliffe.
Coming home from the feed store, I needed to empty a bag of salt into the water softener reservoir. The Trailblazer (silly name) has 14C28N steel, which is very tough and has excellent rust resistance.

Removed the plastic packaging from my new saw blade and a cut a pear for my kids' dinner.

I've had this knife for a couple years and haven't carried it often because of the poor sheath retention. I've added a strap to help retain the knife, and I'm more comfortable neck carrying it now.I had that knife years ago. Gave it away because the sheath had next to no retention. Then a few months later I learned to make kydex sheaths…. Great little knife design though.

The knife is a good design, but I certainly wouldn't trust the sheath without modification.
I've made a few sheaths out of PVC, but would like to get into kydex. Need to look into making a kydex press.
