Same thing I do with all my knives.. look at them a lot, maybe flip them open and closed a few times here and there throughout the day. Generally nothing a knife is intended for because I rarely need one. I do have a junker I use for breaking down cardboard weekly.

Sometimes I use my EDC to cut a loose thread on clothing or open a box that has no give to otherwise open by hand.

Yeah my knives live a life of leisure. Lol

I used my titanium kiridashi I got from Mecha to clean the built up dried sodium hydroxide from our chemical pump to make it safer to use. Still hasn’t shown any type of corrosion. Wash it down, wipe it off and put it away.

Cutting up boxes. 1 of them was for new car seat covers for my daughter's car, she put on yesterday but first she wanted to clean her so I got the vacum out for and set her up. 10 minutes later "Dad it's not working right" guess who had to do it all

Snip the silk so they do not burn. Soak in water for half an hour and put on the grill. The water in the shucks steams it. I like it better than boiled

Also makes it easier to remove the strands inside because it is relaxed a bit from the heat, AND if you don’t cut the ends you can fold the leaves back and you have a built in handle

Almost forgot, sometimes I use my EDC knife to pop balloons. I have a thing with balloons. They freak me out. The sound they make when you touch them just isn't right. And how light they are and uncontrollable just floating around with no direction. Gives me shivers. So I pop them. Keep your kids at carnivals away from me... I'll make them cry. Lol

That works as well. Went local farmers market today. A couple ears steamed tonight and two roasted tomorrow. Peel shucks back and roast on grill
