That one came out SO solid! I liked the John Deere Green bone.

Can't wait to see Marke's Beerlow rendition!

I can't wait either Philll. I will get it done before Christmas, I have been swamped at work and too tired when I get home to work on anything. :(

Let's see if I can dig up some old beer scout pics. There are a few of those floating around.

This one, for instance:

Seems a good idea for the 2015 Blade Forums knife. Would be a great EDC knife. :D

I totally agree. I think the Beerlow pattern is something that most men would appreciate and hopefully get plenty of use out of! Count me in for a 2015 Beerlow forum knife.

Does anyone make these in their production line or are they custom knives? I think this is a really cool set up.

GEC has made several of them. I could be wrong, but I think all of the ones with barlow style bolsters are custom. Do a thorough Web search.... there may be a few still around at dealers. They (GEC) call them Crownlifters and they are on the #15 pattern.

Goodness Evan, is that burl wood handles?

Perry

Yessir. The top one has buckeye burls and the beerscout has amboyna burl.

GEC has made the radio knife, Crownlifter, and Charlie's Diamond Radio Jack all on the 15 pattern, and they are either bare end or have end caps. I have done all of the customizations(so far) that have the barlow bolster and different blade combinations.

This is a Beerlow wannabe.

#15 Huckleberry Boy's Knife w/ antique yellow jigged bone handles. Like Evan said, this is as close as GEC has come to making a Beerlow.

I just got this last week from CK and it is becoming a favorite EDC.

The runs of these knives seem to disappear quickly from the usual dealers websites as soon as they are released.
