Ah, thanks.

I guess it looked a bit taller without you in the pic for scale. And Watchful, you're right. I was going on memory. I checked some Borzoi pics. How could I forget that head shape? Good eye.

Thinking of bird dogs, there's one with a face I've seen on here a few times and it always makes me smile. He is Radar. If I remember correctly he belongs to Helle as one of a pair with Kodiak.

He's getting a little grey in the whiskers, and seems to prefer the couch more and more these days.

Also, constant tugging by this little creature doesn't seem to bother him at all. :)

Some good looking animals, I'm partial to the lab and lab mixes though.

I must admit that I was expecting a larger array of dog types. They all seem to be full size working dogs.

Great thread, and really nice pics :)

Here are my two friends,

First, Netta, a ~20 lbs Swedish Vallhund (notice that in the picture she's just found a piece of pitchy stump for me to use as tinder :) ):

And this is Inka, a Smooth Collie.

Here's both of them, running like crazy...

Believe it or not, on short distances Netta runs as fast as Inka. Even though she's not that big, she really is a big dog in a small dogs body. A real powerhouse, and she doesn't give up, ever! :)

Inka is a bit softer by nature, but she's really smart, learns almost any trick in a few moments.

Here are my two.... Australian Cattle Dog - Black Lab mix...

Australian Cattle Dog - Black Lab mix

Those have to be smart dogs.

Often times... too smart!

Indy is happy just being a dog... fetching... walking beside me... etc.

Calla wishes to upgrade to human... refuses to catch, do tricks and often snubs other dogs because they are "uncultured animals". Every once in a while I stick a mirror infront of her for a reality check!

Thanks.
Rick
