Jonny you gonna throw a nasty convex on there for him when you’re done? @trevitrace I’m not sure if you know or not but Jonny is one hell of a freehand sharpener. He did all my knives for years before I figured it out on my own.

Thanks Kyle! This BC is plenty sharp as it is right now. From my experience so far with Nate's d3v, it holds a nice sharp edge for a super long time! If he wants me to touch it up, I'd be happy to do it for him. Other than that, it's currently sharp as hell and ready to go do work!
Freshly washed under hot water with dish soap and an old toothbrush. From this:
I rubbed the scales down with mineral oil. Here it is halfway rubbed down to show the difference.
Those images offer clear proof that you can have any degree of brown you want almost. Great way to present the alternatives, Jonny!
