Show your Indian River Jacks!

Cling peaches in heavy syrup! Those Rams horn are INSANE! How is the pull on these newer ones?
Respectfully, Chance.

Thanks JR, I'm really impressed with yours. I'll take some pictures of mine after work.
Chance.

The pull on mine is pretty strong. About a 7 or so. But it's easy to pinch the blade so no big deal. I Actually really like how strong it is. Almost perfect, imo

Ram's horn has always interested me as a handle option. Quick question though for Derek. Are these stabilized in any way? I've heard in the past (and nothing from North Woods) of Ram's horn curling or pulling away from liners.

No, the Rams Horn is not stabilized.

All horn can have issues of changing over time and these could have the same issues. Just nature of the case on that material.

Did you mean to post a beautiful pic of a forest jack?

It's a tough little knife!
There's plenty of steel in the blade, for rough work!

^^^ I like it, though the F/F on mine is OK. The walk and talk are decent and the edge came very sharp and the blade profile is showing to be very useful. It looks like KSF hit it square on the mark as to the description of the knife as meant to be a "user".

Derrick, I really really like the ram's horn on these indian river jacks. I know you said you got a special deal on the ram's horn, but I'm hoping that there may be some more in the works for those of us too slow on the draw to pick up one of the first batch?

I think USPS likes my Ram's Horn IRJ! Why else would they take so long to deliver it! J/K I realize I'm caught in the holiday twilight zone lol.

Just got mine with ebony covers and had to send it back due to a gap of 1/32 between the tang and liner on the right side in the closed position.I can see why they sell out so quick, the knife is a perfect size and the blade was razor sharp, just beautiful.
