No problem, I figured that's what it was in reference to. When the guy took the shot he didn't even think of it. Here's a better one. :D

Knives I made from 2006, 2007 and 2008. The skinner with the mokume bolster was made in 2006. The Damascus with the wrought iron bolsters has mammoth ivory and mammoth bone in the handle construction and was made in 2007. The Birch Burl with bark at the back end of the handle was made this year. Enjoy!

Don, :eek::eek::eek:

Great looking knives!! And David, I've always enjoyed looking at your work. And to everyone else, great looking stuff! This is what keeps driving me to become a better maker and improve my fit, finish, and difficulty. Outstanding!!

Hey Darrel, I missed ya in Chicago!
I know you were there but didn't see ya all weekend?

Hi Don,
After the tactical invitational I went back to the shop.
I have many irons in the fire that need attention right now .

Will you be in CALI at the Plaza Invitational?

Just eat and run (or sell and run), eh Darrel :D

I had to cancel the Plaza show, too many shows for too many years.
And I can not take the abuse of the airlines any longer.
Is a very good show though, going to miss being there, but just a little.

My next show is Blade 2009. A good long break, to get caught up on orders
and work on some new stuff.

Take care!

Here is the last one. It won the "best fixed blade" at BladeWest. Its a take down with "W pattern" damascus and amber dyed stag taper. The fittings are 1018 and nickel plated. Shiney as can be.

Here's the two of mine that won at Blade West. I never entered in sword before but figured I had a 50/50 chance. The little one has a blade that's at least 12" long. It won Best Fighter. There's a reason I call the big one Jumbo.

Don,
The world is changing.
The last flight I was on pissed me off also.
I had to pay for a bag.
Greed will kill these people in the end.

The Chicago show was great but... Too many shows and not enough time.
New York in 6 weeks!!! I am happy they moved the show to the Crown Plaza this year. That hotel is much nicer and the show room is great!
So, back from Cali and into the hot seat again!
