Here are the last two I purchased - Condor Golok & Parang

THEY ARE SWEET ! I favor the Golok a little more...not sure why but I do :D
I don't have a machete only pic but I have a few more.
1. Ontario 12"
2. Tramontina 14"
3. Tramontina 28"
& I plan on getting a Condor 12" Bolo & Barong

All excellent machetes, as are the ones you're scoping out. No such thing as too many! :D:thumbup:

just 4 so far...i was planning on doing a chopper test but got lazy and haven't gotten around to completing it (that's why the axe and the junglas are in the pic too).

Check out Colhane's Youtube Channel. The man in a genius with machetes. Taking his advice I bought and modified an Ontario 12". It is a great blade for the North American hard wood forests. I put a razor edge on the first 4" and then did a convex edge on the "sweet spot". Then I made a basic sheath from some kydex in desert tan.

18" Ontario GI machete. The only machete I have atm (though I'm expecting my 15" Martindale Bolo to arrive soon from MacheteSpecialists).

Since this pic was taken, I have removed the black coating and have given the blade a mustard patina which gives it a really neat "aged" look. I probably should try to take pics of it.

I dont have any pics of mine but its really similar to the style of the esee machete above. It is a Martindale and I had Ray Ennis of Entrek Knives customize the handle so the esee handles would fit which he also put on.

It is the best machete I have ever used:thumbup:

@ coaldigger - Go Cats!!!!! I lived in Jessamine county for about 5 years - gotta love the Bluegrass! I miss the Gorge and Natural Bridge - beautiful area - hiking/climbing and such.
