Hi Mike... I love the IMP. It's a heck of a lot of knife in a small package. It's got a relatively thick blade for its size, so it can handle many of the same jobs you would usually use a larger knife for.

I've bugged Mike Stewart to make more, but so far... :thumbdn:

:grumpy:

Awesome looking stuff, guys!

I tend to go with a big chopper and SAK combo most of the time, but all of the following have been used and/or carried except the Benchmade. I got it just in case I ever got into guiding again, but the wife liked it, so now it's hers. If I ask nice, she might let me borrow it back. ;)

L to R we have:
HI Bilton - a surprisingly handy knife.
Winston Model #14 - I got it for hunting, but so far it's dressed out nothing wilder than a raw potato.
J. Neilson Crookback - I used to have three of these great little knives, but the other two were too pretty to use, so I ended up selling them when money got tight.
Dawson boot - I believe he calls this pattern "Victory" now. In spite of it's tactical profile, it's proven to be a very versatile tool. It's a great size, and came in a nice Kydex rig that backpacks/hikes well.
Benchmade River/Rescue - see above. It is stamped ' number somethingorother out of 1000 - pre-production run' I have no idea what that means, but if it is an intrinsically valuable collector piece because of it, tough, it's gonna get used.
CRKT Ryan Plan B - This came with another knife I bought or traded for. I thought it was kinda funny-lookin' when I got it, but it is now my go-to EDC for situations in "civilisation" that I think might not be quite "civilized" enough.
CS Bird and Trout - Nice little "toss it in" to take along knife. I thought about using as a necker, but I think the handle is a little too long for that, and the minimal sheath gives me creeps when I think about trying to put the blade back in it, with the point aimed in the general direction of my adam's apple.
