• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

EXCELLENT. Was pleasantly surprised with the sights and accuracy. Found the one I got in a pawn shop in mint condition.

Here is my bug out combo. Ruger 77/22 Allweather and MkII SS. Trusty Jet Rocket Hatchet and Randall #1 5 inch.

Can't show any pics right now...all my firearms are 7,200 miles away at the moment! But I like my Ruger 10/22 Compact or my old Marlin Model 39A, combined with my Ruger MkII Stainless with a 4 3/4" barrel and PSI adjustable rear sight. They'll be combined with a SAK Farmer and my Case 6344SS or Schrade 34OT in my pockets, and a Randall Model 14CDT, when it arrives next February!

What, no love for the Marlin Model 60?

I only have a few pics of it right now, got it from my father-in-law last XMAS and still haven't even fired a round through it. Hoping to remedy that in a few days though :D

Here is one of my favourites...Puma 92 saddle ring carbine in .38/.357 mag.
I was recently thinking about something similar, the Marlin 1894 in 44 Rem. Magnum / 44 S&W Special. Could make an interesting alternative as a survival/bug-out gun to a full blown semi-auto assault rifle (maybe paired with a light-weight .44 revolver for ammo commonality?).

The stainless model just caught my eye, and if I can find one that's not too dear, I may just pick one up.

That looks nice and I've had a Puma 16" stainless .44 in my sights for a while.

Here's my .44 magnum Marlin Short Rifle (had this photo in my Photobucket account). It's an older Marlin carbine that I had my gunsmith make into the short rifle configuration. It has a 17 1/4" barrel and will hold 10 .44 Special rounds, or 9 .44 magnums. It's nice and light and very accurate!
