Nice thread. I did most of my camping a long time ago. I used a Camillus Pilot's Survival Knife, a $12 (1962) Swiss Army Knife, and a Plumb Scout axe. The Camillus and the Plumb grew legs back when I was moving a lot. Still have the SAK. Will have to throw it on the scanner sometime.

Man those are some nice set ups. I don't have pics but my trio is a GB mini, SAK farmer, and a Koster bushcrafter(when it gets here:rolleyes:.)

I know this is an older thread, but it's such a good one, that I wanted to post my new trio here.:)

This is a new trio that I'm going to be trying out. I have a couple of different ones. My most used one is a Fiskars folding saw, Bark River Aurora and a Leatherman Charge Tti. Sometimes I'll use a Bark River Golok, a Fallkniven F1 and a SAK Farmer.

But, I wanted to try this new one out.

Modified 20" Wetterlings Axe
Bark River Fox River
Bark River Kephart Companion

This time of year and winter is the time of year I spend most in the woods. Can't wait to try it out on my next trip! Pic taken in my backyard.:(:D

For along time it was something like this paired with a fiskars 14 inch hatchet and a LM wave

than I switched

These are the tools I;ve used pretty religiously for about the past year

THat is until I received this as a gift..I've also been missing the keenness of a scandi edge

Now I'm thinking about hanging up the bk7 for a bit and adding a scandi to fill out the trio

Here's my favorite trio:
I rotate a few sets but often come back to this one.

Shotgun, the small Khuk was a gift from a gnerous forum member here... It's a Himilayan Imports 12 inch chiurwa Ang Khola

Cool thread.
Here's one of my trio's....usually it's a choice between the hatchet or the large blade.
