Show your ugliest knife...

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Is your nickname, perchance, "fingers"? ;)

I would be hesitant about using that knife in any circumstances. certainly would choose just about any knife over it. it looks downright dangerous. but if you like it, well, good luck sir, you are a braver man than I.

Fortune favors the bold!!!

This knife has been my beater blade around the yard for over a year now. Underneath the wrapping, a good portion of the edges belly is missing. Broken off along w/ the handle during some batoning. Despite this, it still see's action. Eventually I'd like to rehab it into a neck knife.

I have no worries about getting cut by that beater. But I do like the nickname "fingers" though.

The lime green handle is ugly to me. The blade has a strange grind. This is a weird looking knife. It works, though. :D

My dive knife that hasn't seen water since '91 and a wanna-be Nessmuk that, well, just didn't work out....

There are some downtrodden knives here, that's for sure.

This is my ugliest knife, and also one of my favourites. It is based on a Frosts high carbon blade. I added a chechen handle, brass guard, and brass pommel plate. This was purpose-built to be a kitchen knife, and it does a great job of it. But, nice patina notwithstanding, it is an assault on aesthetics.

All the best,

This NightHawk was my saddlebag knife for years. Baton firewood, chop, pry. Always sharpens right up. Not really ugly, just well used

It's an 'LE' 464/750 :rolleyes:, lost it's coating long ago.

Now it's the resident knife in my bike shed.

Oh my... that's one well-used Heavy Heart. Truly amazing!

Personally I don't think any knife is really ugly due to use, although I've seen plenty that I think are ugly brand-new.
