How on earth do you decide which ones to carry??? I only have 4 Busse's and I have a hard time deciding which! BTW all of mine are users:thumbup:

Ah. Thanks for the info. I've become a bit obsessive compulsive about having excess oils on my hands after working for so long in my previous job, I'm only just getting used to not being covered in oil every day!

I have a couple pieces with tigerhide that I'd LOVE to look like that. I don't think I can bring myself to oil up my infi though.

Le sigh.

I agree with you on keeping oil off my hands. I worked for 5 years with hydrolic presses. I got so tired of oil on my hands, getting in cuts and splits in my skin. Some times when a high pressure hose ruptured you would look like you had taken a shower in it. I don't even like to put lotion on my skin when they are cracked and dry.

Users you say? That's all I got.

Well here's my "old" FBM next to my new ASH1. The FBM has done yeoman service on Vieques serving as a machete and will be headed to mainland PR with me next week to serve in the same capacity. It has also less than covertly deanimated my alarm clock one morning when I was ill disposed to getting out of bed. Overall an awesome knife. I look forward to beating on the ASH1.

I only take pictures of mine when they are brand new and before they go to work. They are like my knives' baby pictures LOL ;). ALL of mine are users but I have nothing against a collector approach. Blood Grooves, you should appreciate the collector above anyone else around here IMO. Down the road, when it is easier for you to buy Busse's it is bound to be the collector community here that is going to make a sweet minty fresh knife available to you years after they have gone out of production.

You will make friends here who down the road, when you express your keen interest in a certain knife will sell you one they may not have planned on letting go at that time. I am glad there are collectors... they are a buffer on the market and a lucky connection with an owner/collector can end up being one of your best Busse community moments.

Pics coming soon.

Cheers,
Dunner

I feel like I should create one big brilliant post with lots of pictures and have it standing by since this comes up about twice a year... Ah... next time ;)
