I love the 5s shape, but wish it was 1/8". I havent found anything I need done in the woods that 1/8" cant handle.

Glad you like it. It has the cutting geometry of a block of Velveeta, in my opinion.

I was pretty fired up about my first as well.
My first fixed blade was an EK Comando bowie knife. I thought I went to heaven. Then, well, I decided it wasn't really what I like to use as my woods knife. It is fun however and that's what's important.
I think he could have done a lot worse with his first FB, but to tell us you're dumb not to like it.....
Like what you like. That's fine. But there's no need to downtalk other people that don't have the same taste as you. Many of them are very experienced and have intelligent reasons for their preferences.![]()
I'll stick with my Mora and my Axe. Works for me even if it's not a man's knife![]()
