As far as I can see, you're just a petulant child, who is whining because he has to wait a little longer for his toy to be delivered.

You, sir, obviously don't care to know any facts. I'm just glad that the majority of people on these forums are not like you. I've had the benefit of dealing with more than a few who know what it means to show common courtesy, not to mention, people who treat other people with something you obviously know little about...respect.
 
IMO people change their minds all the time, if we have had only two people do that, that's still not that big a deal.

Let's not get into a GBU discusiion!

I certainly wasn't trying to start anything here, Dave, believe me. I just won't stand by, while someone decides to start questioning my integrity, just because they're upset. He really had no reason for doing that, and it was very surprising, considering that I didn't see him go after the other person who had withdrawn. I guess he chose me because I would be an easy target?

Besides which, if any of you would care to read the letter I sent im2smrt4u, detailing what I discussed with him, he's certainly free to send it to you, as I told him he could, or I will send a copy to you myself. That is what I meant by extending someone the common courtesy of at least knowing the full situation, before you go shooting off your mouth.

His attitude has definitely left a bad taste in mine.

As for the rest of you involved with this, feel free to speak up. If you think I've done something that deserves the treatment I got from him, by all means, let me know. I will certainly take it into account before ever considering joining anything like this in the future...if this is the treatment I can expect.
 
Well, it is a little disappointing to have someone drop out, but if you can't afford to send the money right now, you just can't. I'm not going to worry about it. If you would like to discuss this further, please do so by email. Thanks.

Lets give it a time limit and if no one else signs up, I'll pay double for two weeks and two chances. I am not sure why anyone would mind. As far as the passaround, it would only save time due to less shipping and as far as the raffle goes, every one else still has the same odds of winning. :) However if someone one is interested, then Come On Down, Forking over for two chances is a bi-ch when you don't win:(
 
I have had mine since Christmas. Got it from KnifeArt. Beautiful knife.
Scary sharp. Fit and finish are superb. The knife just feels like a natural extension of your body. The sheath is great as well, though I would prefer an EAGLE or SOE.

Well, I'm going to buy it on the 17th no matter what, so that will be the cutoff.
 
Ok, I got in this thing to check out the S30V in a bigger blade, and really don't care about winning the knife, so check it out:
If anybody new wants to get in on this, or if one of the other guys who is already in wants to pay for that last slot (like TBG was talking about doing) you can have my chance at the knife.
I win=you get the knife.

I never win anything, anyway:p
 
OK. let me get this straight, you are saying that if someone joins up for the $40 for the last slot to make it so this will work, they not only have their chance at winning, they can have your too?

SO it's two chances for $40?

Hmmm, If I kick in another $40, I'd have 3 chances of winning.

Yeah I thought the same thing, but if I won with his number I would never be able to enjoy the knife:)
