Ok I just got back from the PO and picked up the knife.

My first question is who wrote "TheBadGuy Was Here!" with a carbide scribe in the handle?

Hah, It's fine, I was jokin. There is some honest carry ware on the handles only. Thanks all. I'll let you know how it goes.
 
It just clicked, we are looking at only 3 weeks or so until the raffle, DaveH has it for his week and then only one more person and then its time to tune into the 1-8 chance Lottery :D

The passaround sebenza is on it's way to NFMee.

Here's the little story. I already have a large regular and I like mine but had convinced myself the small sebenzas where right for me. So the new large classic comes and I think, WHOA! I like the handle feel and the blade profile way better then the regular large.

I figured if I didn't pass this on I'd think would start looking for a large Classic, maybe in wood. :eek: :eek: :eek:

Anyway, I still hope I win it. :)

hey guys, I picked up the knife today....What a beauty! I really like the way it rides in the pocket and feels in the hand -- great design.

Does anyone have a little trouble closing them though?? It seems to me like the frame lock really STICKS when it locks open, which, obviously, is good for safety, but it just seems tough to close.

BTW, how long do I have before I send this off??

I think the main problem with closing them is your fingers are pushing the opposite direction while you are trying to push it with your thumb. You have to hold it in a particular way to keep your fingers from going against the motion your thumb is trying to make.

I'd rather not set a date until I have the knife back. Then, we will select a date and the first digit of the midday drawing will be the winner. For example, if the drawing was held yesterday, NFmee would have won. Is everyone okay with this?
 
Just a quick question, since we have trusted each other all along, does it make sense to just have NFMee ship it (old hold onto it) directly to the winner?

I don't quite see why you would need to get it back only to shp it oout again, if need be.

Oh, and if the first digit is a nine for example, we use the next
digit and so on?

You have a point. However, I have the packaging and other materials for the knife that would be important to keep with the knife.

In the event that a winner is not selected with the first number, the second number will be used, and so on if needed.
 
Since the last guy on the list has to mail it(to you or whoever) and you were going to mail it to the winner, You both could mail to the winner at no extra expense to either of you.

I am thinking we will have a winner on the first drawing, the odds are on our side. And its going to be me:D
 
I'm sorry to inform you guys anxiously awaiting the lottery drawing, you can't all have lucky #'s.

True, but I would like to be able to examine the knife and see how it held up to all the use. Plus, I could have it professionally sharpened before it gets sent to the winner.

:eek: Even more delays:( Steve, I know you are just trying to delay this raffle until you can fix the Cali Lottery, but you already have one so Play Fair!! :D
