Funny but you mispelled all the name, the spellings are T. Erdelyi for all of them.

Nahh see you got cut out of the inner circle and Yiterp is in. See you actually wanted to win it, Yiterp is such a nice guy I am just positive that he would give it to me as a X-mas gift if he won just b/c he is one hell of a guy;)

:eek:Sorry, but I already lost my left nut in another bet, and you ain't getting my right one :D

Another fine day with my baby:) Today she cut the x-mas tree off of my roof of my truck, opened a few packages, and took care of some light food prep. Here is a picture of her with some of her new friends. She told me to tell you guys hi and she likes it here ALLOT and wants to stay. :)

This would be funner if I had a digital camera, But here is my version of Where's Waldo?? It's Where's Sebbie?? Not as challenging as I would like, But I am limited to the size of a scanner:D

Excuse me for butting in here, but I just want to say that this thread is very cool. Carry on future Sebenzinistas :D

I do have one question though and I am sure it has been addressed in previous threads, but what the hell. Whats the purpose of the 2 grooves machined out of the one scale near the bottom??

I think it's so the lock bar will even bend.

I've noticed all Ti framed knives I've handled seem to have it.

Yea, every framelock knife I have seen has those grooves. I think Dave is right, that should allow the metal to bend and create the lock.

First off, I know I know 24 hours left. :( I will mail it off tomorrow. But I had to post this below!:)

I just realized this and had to post it. I am currently holding the Passaround/Raffle Sebenza and the Passaround/Raffle Surefire at the same time:eek: I am going out on the town tonight, b/c I am styling and profiling:D This has to be a first, considering that these are the first Passaround/raffles that I know

Sadly the Sebenza is on its way to Yiterp :( I already forward the confirmation number. In the time I had her I developed a real bond. In just a week it cut our X-mas tree off of the roof of my truck, opened up half the knives I have bought this month on the list below, Packed up allot of boxes, made us dinner on two occasions, went with me everywhere I went and was always there for me when I neeeded her. It was indeed a sad time when I had to go back to my AFCK and use it to cut the final piece of tape to pack her up this morning.

Even though we parted was this afternoon there is still excitement left. B/C I have a 1-8 chance of winning what would with out a doubt be my primary EDC. And speaking of, I decided out of the goodness of my heart, that I will take on the burden of being not only number #3 b/c order for the raffle, but I will take up the slack and be #9 as well. :D One thing is for sure, who ever wins this one is a very lucky man.

Well Yiterp, she is spending X-mas with you this year, tell her I said hi;)

Yay! I just realized that I am after Yiterp on the list:D :D . Looks like he will get to open all his Christmas presents with the Sebbie. I was hoping to be able to evaluate the large classic against the small classic that Rev. Pete was kind enough to let me use for the last month, but I promised him I would get it back to him before Christmas:( . Oh well, it won't be that much longer after sending the small back to him that I will get the large, so I should be able do make a good comparison anyway. Oh, as far as raffle number, I'll cover my number 6 and be kind enough to take the 0 so we can be sure the knife gets claimed on the first drawing.;)

Don't want "your" sebbie getting defiled huh? Heh, just wait until I get it. I might just take photo's too!

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Alright, during the current lull of Sebenza passaround reviews, I will admit I've been negligent in posting my opinion, so here it is:

I really liked the knife, as I've said before, it suprized me that it was such a big blade in such a svelt/compact handle, kinda reminded me of the AG Russell One Hand Knife, in that it also has a larger than average size blade in a smaller handle.

I used the Sebenza for cutting everything from wrapping paper and bows to trimming the branches of the X-mas tree, it opened countless boxes at work and than cut them up for recycle, it slid through the cardboard like butter, the hollowground blade slices nice.

It whittled some kindling for my fireplace, here the size and shape of the blade made easy work out of making fuzz sticks and splitting the kindling into pencil size pieces.

I like the stonewashed finish, it was subdued, and not flashy at all.

The fit and finish were excellent, although I'd like to see some pics of it after it's been carried around in a pocket for a couple of months, banging against the change and other knives in my pocket.

My only complaint was with the Thumbstud, I guess I'm used to the Spyder holes in the Spydies, and BM's. But hey 1 in 8 chance, I could learn to love it.

was hoping it would get here before christmas but what the hell.love the feel of the knife, rides great in the pocket.
little plain looking but is very well made, the single stud works great for me.blade came sharp worked great breaking down some cardboard boxes we got gifts in.
gota head out to work in a little while will be going with me to keep me company.will see what i can use it on at work.
