Signup: Large Plain Sebenza Passaround

I say keep it there. No need to send it until we have a winner :) You can send the allen wrench though

That was what I thought. I'll send the wrench, but if you disassmeble it, be sure you can put it back together! :p

I agree keep it there it'll save on the wear and tear, when it gets to me I have a zippered case I'll throw in to save the finish during shipping and it can stay with the winner.

So, with your new sebbie on the way, there's no need for you to be in the raffle right? Now I have a 1 in 7 chance! ;) ;) ;)

That's right Medic and since you have a Sebbie on borrow, we are skipping you in the passaround section. So this whole thing should go pretty fast with great odds. :D

Well, if I win, it'll become a permanent EDC:p

And from the looks of the list, I'll have already given the Small Classic back to Rev. Pete by the time I get the Large Classic passaround since I promised to return it before Christmas. I really wanted to be able to compare the two side by side, but oh well. Better than nothing.

No, the passaround sebenza! Its off to San Francisco right now!

That is good news. :D

I can not wait to put this through the most extreme testing imaginable. I guess I will have to give it the ol' swamp rat block chop. Just kidding about the torture tests.

Well I will let you all know when it arrives.

Mark.

:D :) :D :) :D :)

USPS left me a nice little note. A love letter if you will, sender's name = Sebenza.

I will go pick it up at the PO tomorrow.

I take it we are keepin' this baby for seven days?

More later...:D :D :D

HAHA! I put "Sebenza" on the top line of the "From" address! HAHAHA!

Nicely BG, nicely!

The condition of the knife shows that it has been carried and used with minor blemishes from pocket wear. Some of the anodizing on the thumbstud has worn off. And the blade was rather dull.

I spent a few minuets on the sharpmaker 40 degree angle to sharpen it up. Then took the thing apart and cleaned it up. This is a very simple process with only three screws. Reassembled and added a bit of tuff glide on the pivot. I will also add a paracord lanyard to this baby.

My first impression was that this thing is kind of plain. After a few days of carry I formed a new opinion. The beauty is in the simplicity and durability of the design. I must say that it has grown on me.

My only real complaint is that is has only a single thumbstud.

It has a lot of competition this week from my SERE 2K, Microtech LCC D/A and the Chinook that is in the mail. I like tough folders and this one certainly is. For a large knife it is slim and rides in the pocket nicely.

More to come. Looks like the torture test will be on a Turkey.

:) :D :)
