Signup: Strider SnG Knife Passaround

I have it!!!!!! Man this little knife is bad as Hell!!!! The Ti side is beautiful. I'm glad it has the ruff G-10. I got it this morning at the post office and put it right into my pocket. Then removed it and am playing with it now. Is it missing the rubber washer on the pocket clip? or is it very thin? Either way it stays put in my jeans (at least it would if I could put it down:D . I cut a couple of plastic cords holding on my daughters new toy in its package (man, toys are more secure in their package then most prisoners in jail), and went through like butter. I will post more when I do more with it. I'm gonna hate sending this one away:(

Ha! Tell me about it! I too generally have my SnG in one hand while im playing online, reading BF, opening and closing it is very addictive, probably because of the LOUD and sharp "thunk" it makes when the blade locks open. Often, when im on my laptop, im in my bedroom, and my fiance is in the guest bedroom on her computer all the way on the other side of the house, and as oon as i start playing with the SnG, i hear: "STOP PLAYING WITH YOUR KNIVES!" Yup, tough to be stealthy when that lock opens with such authority. It is the first knife i just couldnt stop playing with, and after hundreds, maybe thousands of openings and closings, it just gets better! I love this knife, but if youve read my posts lately, that isnt exactly a big secret. :) Hey, you might even win the passaround, so you might not have to give it up after all. Plus, the passaround one is pretty cool since its sort of a special variant. Oh well, i have 2 of the first run SnG's which are similar, but without the rough G10. Good luck in the raffle.
 
Megalobyte, I hope I win. Its my only chance at one. I am sure glad I am a part of this passaround whether I get to keep it or not.

This SnG is awesome! I can tell you now that if I had the money, I would buy one right this moment. I have been wearing it while out with my daughter and I forget its their, its so light. It feels a little odd compaired to my GB. The GB feels like an extention of your hand. The SnG melts into your hand. Its a very natural grip, and weightless compared to the GB. What an incrediable design. More to come.

Did you have a chance to try out the kydex belt rig? If so, how did you like that?
 
Well, all good things must come to an end.:( I sent the SnG out this morning by Fedex and it should be in Thomas's hands on Tues. Its a great knife. I hope I win it at the end. Tell me if their is any problems, or send me an E-mail if you need the tracking number.

I recieved the SnG today...it is very cool. I also have a Tanto, let me give you some heads up. The g10 rough finish is far superior (in my opinion) to that of my #d Tanto. Lock up is all that and super smooth. I really like this spear point. This knife rocks.
The sheath..I hate to sound unappreciative, but I recently bought a sheath from Joe Chen, his kydex work is awsome an there is no wy the knife is coming out of it unless you want it to.
I really hate seeing the scuffle between Strider and BF and really I have not been coming here since.
I will ship the Knife off next Tuesday.

Can you send me a picture and I'll post it? Or is there an link to a picture of your sheath? I'd be interested in seeing what makes yours hold the knife better.

I dropped the ball and was out of town all week, I will send the knife out first hing in themorning via USPS Next Day Air....my appologies. Please et me know what you guys think I can do to make up for this.

Where in the hell is the SNG now??? Thomas-J you said you were going to overnight it a week ago and the knife hasn't surfaced yet :confused: :mad:

This means the knife has been out of the loop for 3 weeks!!
 
What the hell's goin on here guys? I see Thomas said he sent it out next day USPS on the 14th. Here we are a week later.... What's up? :confused: :mad:
