Similar quality to CV swayback?

Yall think it's the new dies for the new patterns that makes em have better fnf than the golden oldies? I tend to doubt it for two reasons, one empirical and one "scientific." The empirical reason is that I don't think people have gushed over the fnf of other new models like the humpback and cigar whittler. Second a stamped part has got to be oversized and finished down to final dimension no matter how new or crisp the dies are. I suppose older dies means more grinding or milling to final, which.might introduce some error and maybe this is it. Just curious.

Can anyone who has handled one of these swaybacks recommend something else with a slightly larger blade that would have similar or greater quality? It sounds like the rest of case's chestnut CV series don't have the same build quality? What about other manufacturers? Thanks!

Queen Dan Burke Barlow with Rough Cut Burnt Orange Bone in D2 @ 3 1/2"

I have found this knife to be of excellent F&F
The bone is very special almost translucent
Nice sized blade with a spear main and a Wharnie secondary
It came sharp in D2
