Single-Spring Supporters

This thread is starting to make me consider looking into some half congress knives, never really thought much of them until seeing all the nice examples in here, always been a jack knife sort of guy.

Really enjoying all these examples and support, keep 'em coming!

My 66 Slim came today or I guess it was yesterday now. Didn't get a chance to take any decent pics but here are the 2 I did manage to take before the sun went down completely. Already loving this variation of the 66 pattern.

Great thread, great knives! I only have a few that I can think of; Buck 313 Muskrat, Böker 200 Canoe, and Case 6147 SS.

I am not 100% sure, but I think this was my first single-spring, doubled ended knife. Built 2007 or so?

This thread is fantastic. For some reason, the single spring, two blades at opposite ends configuration is what I associate with a traditional pocketknife. I've got a few new ones inbound and am going to have to take some pics while they are still shiny.

Ken, your work definitely stands the test of time! I remember seeing that posted here years ago and it just looks better to my eyes each time I do see it.

Nice Queen there deskil. Never got round to getting one of those but I would like to. Here's a White Owl in Kryptonite

I have enjoyed everyone's contributions Will to your thread. You know I like the single springs.

Ken ,you had your jigging skills in order already on that first single spring, can't hardly wait to see the next one.

My contribution.A near mint Challenge farmers jack, except for a big chip out of the pile side.

Fabulous knife Lyle! Many thanks for showing not only an unusual (at least it is for me) pattern but one with jigging that makes you know that some Traditional knives are truly works of art.

Neeman, thank you for your showings. That Dan Burke Wharncliffe Half Whittler never fails to remind me to renew the search for one. It's getting like Jason and the quest for the Golden Fleece....:D:eek:

Regards to all, Will
