I never would have thought to use the drill to make the majority of the cuts.
I totally understand it, and it's fairly brilliant. I just never would have thought of it.Relief cuts.

Relief cuts.
At least you didn't have to drill those "overhead". Overhead drilling is the second least favorite job of mine behind overhead torch-cutting and gouging.
Jerry, that would be some ROUGH jimping LOL
James would prolly dig it though![]()
Hey... Could that be where the MAGIC comes from? The jimping, or the relief cuts.
Hmmmm
He really seems to want to hide it.. Methinks he doth protest too much!
Doc
Its like Christmas around here for me today. (Come to think about it, better than Christmas, considering I usually get get squat) Anyway, my new tent I bought off of Dubz got here. All ready set it up and checkin it out. Its just what I was after. No pics yet. Getting ready to head out to football game.
On top of that, as you guys know ive been in the process of moving my shop. Im building a small office and ive been looking for a good metal sturdy office desk. Lookin for one of the built right old ones on the cheap. Low and behold, out of the blue, my mother in law pulls up in the driveway with one in fantastic shape just like I was lookin for in the back of her truck. Said she found it at a yard sale for $20. bucks and thought of me. I gladly reached into to my pocket to pay her for it and she said. "No charge, my gift to you" pretty cool man. Couldnt be happier.
Time for a break from that for a little bit. The finger groove area is being a pain in the butt to get the file in there. Im using both the half round file and the regular bastard mill... Im going to try the triangular file later on, i think it may be a little easy to get the ridges knocked down enough in that grove to where the half round one is more effective.
