I have got 152 knives - according to the last and the only census to date. Fixed and folders about 50-50.
I think I am just not into selling the knives I have got. So I have sold or traded probably less than 30 knives so far - mostly some cheapos that I have accumulated in the beginning. But there were also some good quality knives I've got to try and did not like.
By the way I do not make any special attempt to use all of them, to use any expensive, custom, or simply rare/discontinued ones. Those are very nice to buy and to own. As for using - do not feel any call to carry or to use any of them. Right now for example have Kershaw Chill or Buck Vantage in my poket most of the time. Sort of irrational thing - this knife buying/accumulation staff...
When I am not buying knives, I usually go for shoes - do not even know what is worse! Probably knives - my wife just lauths at me bringing home a new pair of shoes. With a knife it is different for some reason. And with shoes I am a bit cheaper, I must confess. Which is good!
