Sk-4.7!!!

I am really excited to see who gets the new mystery steel testers and what they think of them.

Not gonna lie... I hope I am one, but I won't be upset if I am not.
 
It'll be cool to see how these turn out. I'm a bit curious if the recipients are supposed to keep it on the down low and if they were assigned certain tasks to complete. It would be the kind of homework that would be fun.

Yeah me too! Looking at the 4.7 in those photos makes me wish I had bought one. Oh well! 30 lucky folks are going to be over the moon in a few weeks. Hopefully whomever it is will take tons of photos and do lots of cool reviews
 
That's crazy!!! You guys are super generous to be doing that for your customers and fans. All more reasons I'm sticking with S!
 
So what's the word on the coating for these? I'm not familiar with the original S!K coatings.

They named it on instagram somewhere or maybe it was here. There's so much bad ass news and awesomeness coming from S! and we're only four freaking days into the new year!!!

I'll see if I can wade through all the goodness and find it.

You saw that over on the SK-4.7 page probably. "All SK Series blades are coated with Austrian FDE Cerakote by local company, Sowastrong Industries"

I'm glad you chose cerakote on these. DLC coating looks cool but this stuff comes out tough as nails plus it's nice and uniform.

I thought this was the tread but I didn't see it so started looking through instagram and fb page.

Nice thank you Ellie! You too TT. Looks like there won't be a lot of drag with the cerakoting.
